The museum of the history of Melacca

The city of Melacca was built there because of a story about a king traveling and a mousedeer kicking the king's dog into the river.  The king believed it was a sign and built the city upon the site.

And more awesome Indian food.  I fell in love with Indian food in Malaysia.  Thanking the Brits for bringing Indians with them during colonization...

Hiking to the largest flower in the world.

And there it is!  The Rafflesia, the world's largest flower, which is parasitic and eats flies and other insects.

Then we visited a tea plantation.  I was remarking how old the plants were when our tour guide said they were 85 years old!
